Speaking from Portugal during her ongoing European tour, she emphasized that the outer state of our physical ecosystem is a direct reflection of the inner state of human consciousness, and called upon global faith communities to lead the healing process.

The session, introduced by platform host and European Union Climate Pact Ambassador Lalit Bhusal Sharma, mapped out how individual karma, mental vibrations, and the shared values of world religions dictate global environmental outcomes.

Core insights: Changing the mind to change the world

Throughout the interview, Sister Shivani highlighted the deep spiritual shifts and the essential role of faith required to solve modern environmental challenges:

1. Moving from fear to faith

Addressing the widespread worry and helplessness felt by young people over scary climate statistics, Sister Shivani offered a crucial reminder. She noted that data shared by the scientific and political communities is intended to spark awareness, not terror.

Actions driven by panic are never sustainable. True resilience comes when people stop viewing themselves as helpless victims and instead shift from a position of fear to a position of true spiritual faith—knowing that they hold the inner power to create a positive change.

2. Re-defining consumption: Can the planet afford this?

Sister Shivani provided a deep breakdown of consumerist habits. She explained that physical objects are designed to provide physical comfort, not emotional fulfillment. When individuals rely on buying goods to chase happiness, desire becomes limitless, straining the earth's natural resources.

She offered a simple shift in mindset for consumers visiting shops or malls:

"The next time we go there, look at that object, look at the price tag, just change your question from, 'Can I afford this?' to the next question: 'Can the planet afford this?' And drop the idea of buying it if you already have multiple copies of it at home. We are the creators of our planet, not just the consumers."

True simplicity cannot be forced; it happens naturally as a byproduct of an internally content mind that buys only for necessity.

3. The common thread of all faiths: Returning to paradise

When discussing how different religions sometimes argue over beliefs while sharing the same threatened ecosystem, Sister Shivani reminded the audience that every spiritual path shares the exact same core truth.

Whether a tradition calls it Paradise, Jannat, Swarg, or Satyug (the Golden Age), every religion recognizes that the earth was once a beautiful, perfect home, and that it is destined to become that way again.

Sister Shivani: "Every religion knows this. There was paradise, there was janut, there was swag, there was satyuk, there was golden age... and every religion knows that it's going to happen again. But it's not going to come out of magic. We have to create it. With our negative actions we created the iron age, now we will change our actions and our energy, and together we will create the golden age again."

4. Healing the earth through prayer and vibrations

In a very practical segment on the power of faith, Sister Shivani highlighted the invisible yet powerful link between human emotion and physical matter. Thoughts and feelings create pure energetic vibrations that are directly absorbed by the surrounding air, vegetation, and water.

Water is actively used for healing in every single religious and spiritual practice because it easily absorbs these vibrations. When faith communities come together to pray, meditate, and practice love, compassion, and forgiveness, they raise the vibrational energy of the planet. Therefore, temples, mosques, churches, and spiritual centers have a shared sacred duty to unite, elevate their collective intentions, and serve as clean, green, zero-waste models for their local neighborhoods.

Two micro-actions for every individual

To help drive this beautiful transition toward a harmonious world, Sister Shivani left the audience with two simple, daily actions that anyone can start doing immediately:

  1. Buy for necessity, not happiness: Let your simple lifestyle flow naturally out of internal peace.

  2. Experiment with a plant-based diet: Choosing a plant-based diet reduces environmental strain drastically while improving internal well-being.

  3. As didi explained, "You will feel lighter in the mind, lighter in the gut, and the planet will be healthier."

The session concluded with an encouraging note on the "ripple effect." When one person or one faith group steps forward with a pure intention, that positive energy naturally flows to the next person, motivating the entire community to take collective action.
