At My Name is Climate Foundation, we are dedicated to highlighting the visionaries who don’t just talk about change but actively document and drive it. It is our distinct honour to introduce our second Motivators of the Year 2026: Hans and Tilly Scholtze, the visionary founders of BC1® (Business Channel One). It was a true pleasure for us at My Name is Climate Foundation to hear their story and witness the deep connections they are forging across industries to bridge the gap between complex sustainable innovation and public awareness.

As a participant in the Startup Hero Journey 2024, BC1 has managed to make significant strides in professionalisation and future-proofing. The journey allowed Tilly to sharpen the platform's positioning and communicate more effectively what makes BC1 unique. "The Journey not only gave us focus, but also the confidence that we can make a difference with our concept," says Tilly.

The content produced by BC1 is amazingly cinematic and beautiful. By utilising a high-end documentary approach, they capture the authentic, unembellished human stories behind green technology. This ensures that the transition to a sustainable economy is not just understood, but truly felt.
